Be a Volunteer to Help Host the Summit
This summit is free and totally organized by volunteers.  We can't host these events without your help.

We have various roles for hosting the Summit. These role spread the work, responsibilities, etc. so that everyone does a small part and doesn't get overwhelmed. Together we could hold an informative and enjoyable event that helps raise the level of empathy in the world.  See a shared google doc where we describe, develop the roles. Outline of Summit Roles

Role: Day Host:  

• • • 1. Organize and oversee the full day of the Summit. Can create a Summit topic.

      2. Responsible to find people to fill all the roles for the day. 

      3. Organize and oversee the 2 hours of presentation. 

      4. Organize and oversee the 2 hour Empathy Circle.

      5. Coordinate the speakers and overall flow of the first 2 hours with the Hour hosts.

      6. Schedule planning meetings with the production team

      7. Responsible for creating a coherent flow of the topics presentations.

Role: Hour 1 Host

1.  Organize, host and moderate the first hour, 

2. Work with the other host to put together the program.

3. Line up speakers or panels

4. Introduce the speakers

5. Keep time and make sure we keep on schedule.

Role: Hour 2 Host

1. Organize, host and moderate the first hour,

Empathy Circle Host

1. Host  and facilitate the Empathy Circle  

2. Make sure there are enough empathy circle facilitators

3. Find and manage the people doing the different parts
